God’s MERCY SPEAKS is committed to creating a better world through the growth and development of each individual. People House is a non-profit, non-sectarian personal and spiritual growth center that has a successful over 45-year history of responding to the community’s needs for personal education, healing, and growth through a variety of healing arts.
Philosophy
We offer affordable, holistic counseling to those who might otherwise be unable to experience the transformative power and support of professional counseling. Our purpose is to enrich people’s lives through educational programs and personal and spiritual growth. The populations we serve are people in crisis, life transition, or other stress, and those who are motivated to grow psychologically, mentally,, and spiritually. We focus on those able to take responsibility for themselves and their actions in order to change their lives for the better. Our perspective is holistic, starting with the premise that the development and integration of mind, body, and spirit is necessary to become healthy, fulfilled, and productive. We believe in an all-inclusive unity inherent in every being.
About the Counseling
Our counselling services offer a safe and compassionate environment for individuals to navigate life’s challenges. Our trained Christian counsellors integrate biblical principles and the love of God to offer hope, healing, and direction. We believe in the transformative power of faith, as expressed in Psalm 34:17-18, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Through confidential sessions, we address emotional, relational, and spiritual issues, helping clients find peace and purpose in their journey.
